Mario Bosco (MC)

Mario Bosco is an actor, an author and stand-up comedian. He has appeared at notable venues, and is a regular & a favorite at Governor’s, The Brokerage, and McGuires comedy clubs on Long Island N.Y., where he has shared the stage with Gilbert Gottfried, Rich Vos, Joey Kola, and Kevin James. Mario has also taken the stage at multiple clubs around NYC, including Dangerfield’s, Carolines and Gotham. He has worked with Mike Marino at Catch A Rising Star in NJ and Ha Ha’s comedy club in LA. Mario studied comedy with David LaBarca at the Gotham Writing School and Ross Bennett at the famous Manhattan Comedy School. At an early age, after charming his way backstage at The Cosby Show, he ultimately met Bill Cosby, and shortly thereafter knew that show business would be his destiny. His acting career began with bit parts in movies, with roles in “The Hard Way” (with Michael J. Fox and James Woods) and “Bullet” (with Mickey Rourke and TuPac Shakur), where he played the role of Stanley. Mario also danced alongside Salma Hayek in the film “54”. One of Mario’s favorite TV roles was playing “Anthony” on NYPD Blue, (Season 7, Episode 18 - Lucky Luciano),a role that was written by David Milch just for him!! While as an audience member at Jimmy Kimmel Live, he was singled out by Denzel Washington to join them onstage. This turn of events led to recurring appearances in comedy sketches on the show. Mario’s journey continued, when in 2015 his autobiography “From Hopeless to Hollywood” was released. His outspoken, yet sincere, personality has opened many doors for him. He believes that if you don’t strive to persevere, then those doors will remain forever shut...
