Policy Notice: Deadline for Using Credits and Legacy Gift Cards
At Smithtown Performing Arts Center (SPAC), we strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our patrons. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our services, we are updating our policy regarding the use of credits, aged gift cards, and show transfers.

Deadline for Using Credits and Legacy Gift Cards
All credits, legacy gift cards, and show transfers from before our nonprofit acquisition of 2 E Main Street in March 2022, or where applicable under New York State law, must be used by December 31, 2025. After this date, these credits and gift cards will no longer be valid. This policy aligns with our established "No Refunds" policy, which all ticket holders agreed to at the time of purchase. We have made extensive efforts to provide a wide range of events, including live bands, opera, stand-up comedy, and theater, to allow for the use of these credits and honor transfers for multiple years, even without any legal obligation to do so.

As a nonprofit organization, we remain committed to delivering high-quality performances and educational opportunities at an accessible cost. Over the past four years, we have consistently offered top-notch entertainment at the lowest prices compared to other local theaters, and despite rising costs we have not increased our pricing since before the pandemic.

Ample Past Opportunities
Since the end of pandemic-related closures, SPAC has presented over 400 individual performances in the past three years, including:

Mainstage Productions

• American Idiot, Rent, Newsies, Every Christmas Story Ever Told, Night of the Living Dead and more.

• Tribute bands such as Simply Diamond, Sir Elton, Guilty Pleasures, and Beatlemania, along with others.

• Over 30 comedy nights and counting

Junior Productions

• Family favorites including Moana Jr., Beauty & The Beast Jr., High School Musical Jr., and more.

These events have provided ample opportunities to redeem any outstanding credits or gift cards. With the exciting upcoming production of Menopause this March and more shows planned, we encourage patrons to use any remaining credits or legacy gift cards by December 31, 2025.
