Iconic Performances of All Time

Step into a night where legendary moments come alive through dance.

Fred Astaire Dance Studios – Smithtown invites the community to start the new year with an unforgettable celebration of dance. Like a cherished holiday, our annual showcase returns each January - always with a brand-new theme and a completely new lineup of performances.

This year’s production, Dancepiration: Iconic Performances of All Time. Our professional instructors perform alongside their students in fully staged show numbers - each one telling a story with a beginning, a journey, and a powerful finale. These are not simple ballroom routines, but theatrical performances inspired by iconic moments that have shaped entertainment across generations.

Blending Ballroom, Latin, and theatrical styles with dramatic music, costumes, and creative staging, Dancepiration delivers a Broadway - style experience that is both inspiring and deeply personal.

Let yourself be inspired. Let yourself be moved. Let yourself experience Dancepiration.
